Young Adults

WELCOME! 

Fourth Pres is a place for people of all ages. In our church family, we worship and sing together, break bread and engage in mission together, we share one another's joys and bear one another's burdens together.

If you are a young adult (approx. 20-40 years old), we welcome you to worship with us on Sunday mornings (8:45 & 11:15 AM). We also encourage you to get involved in the Christian Education programs of the church on Sundays from 10:00-10:50 AM. We have a variety of classes each week that run roughly in 6-week segments. They are intergenerational and well attended.

Special Opportunities for Spiritual Growth include:

• Tuesday Morning Breakfast & Bible Study (7:00-8:00 AM)
• Disciples' Bible Study--Tuesday Evenings-7:00-9:00 PM & Friday Mornings 10:00-noon.
• Wednesday Night Fellowship (5:45-7:15 PM)--Food by VEGGIES 2 GO (voted "Best Meat & Three" in the upstate this year). Variety of programs for the whole church family.
• Women's Circles--Meet the second Tuesday of each month at a variety of times.
• Choir--(Wednesday Nights 7:30-8:30 PM).

COME & VOLUNTEER:

• Once a quarter (4th Sunday of January, April, July, October), our church serves food at the Triune Mercy Center Soup Kitchen on Sunday afternoon from 4:30-6:30 PM.
• Twice a year (December and April), our church coordinates events in the Sterling Community that involve food, recreation, worship and/or special programs. Lots of help is needed.

If you are interested in serving on a more ongoing basis, we have lots of opportunites for you. Please contact our church office.

As needs arise, Fourth Pres young adults respond to local, national, and international crises (such as Hurricane Katrina) with special service projects and trips.
